I AM THE BLACK WOMAN
Who am I?
From my first day of college, I saw things, experienced things, and faced things that molded me to be stronger. But still, I questioned who I was.
While putting together a fashion sketch portfolio, I came across a poem I wrote in 2014 titled, Who Am I? I asked myself—who am I. Clearly, I didn’t seem to know.
But I realized I wasn’t the only person with that question. And thus, the journey begins.
I AM THE BLACK WOMAN is a collection of twenty-six short stories, proses, and poems designed to empower, enlighten, and elevate the black girl.
